Imagist

The imagist's were people who changed the world by changing the way they looked at the world.

Prominent among them in the literary arts was William Carlos Williams, who so much depends on to this day.

"I was reared an imagist and if the image is not put down clearly I tend to become lost," the older Williams wrote to the younger Charles Olson upon receiving "The Maximus" poems from the younger Olson.

A big shift in the culture should be noted in the response, from the imagist to the projective.
