Nikki Haley Reagan for President
My name is Brooks Roddan. I enjoy my identity, I am attached to it and it’s attached to me, but it’s not for sale.
But I wonder:
is it possible for someone like me to become political spiritually, and to keep my identity while separating myself from the existential?
I ask and immediately receive the answer: the existential must be resisted!
It seems I’d accepted the inflated definition of individual selfhood, of the idea of having an identity that belongs solely to me, as imposed upon me and others by a tribe of European and American philosophers from the late 19th and mid-20th century.
