Who remembers Judith Miller, and what has become of her?

If you sit in the dark long enough you'll eventually be able to see, not only see but see things you thought you'd never see.

A novelist is someone who poses to know everything; a poet is the one who knows everything without posing as anything other than a poet.

One who looks for criticism, attracts it. Instead, be buoyant, bouncy, optimistic if you want to be well-liked, even if, especially if, the circumstances you find yourself in are unfavorable; even more reason to project happiness and well-being.

It's possible we'll run out of barcodes, not in my lifetime, perhaps, but in the lifetime of my grandchildren.
