Alta Plaza Park
I've found a way to make time last almost as long as I want it to.
By looking at it sideways.
I turn my right wrist slightly to the right, raise my right hand and start walking in that direction.
The sun is going down on one side of me and coming up on the other.
The experience is not unlike entering a movie theatre during the day and emerging from the theatre by late evening.
The sun is going down on one side of me and coming up on the other side.
There's no hurry. I can stop walking and let time go on its way, with me or without me.
The dogs are friendly in the park, even when they're off the leash. When I bend down to pet them I become a better person almost instantly.
Whether I start walking or stay right where I am I have nowhere to go but home.
