This writer asks, ‘will there be tariffs on books’?

O yes, The President is putting tariffs on all books, not that The President reads books, he only writes them.

I see, The President is a writer?

O yes, a very fine writer of books. Not that he writes them, he prefers dictation, The President is a dictator of books, he prefers dictation that is, to talk into a dictaphone and then have what’s he’s dictated read aloud to him by one of his assistants.

Does The President then read what he’s dictated?

The President rarely if ever reads. In most every case however, The President will actually take time to have the words he’s dictated read aloud to him by one of his assistants. Unfortunately however, The President is a busy man and there aren’t enough hours in the day for him to catch every typo or malapropism or whatever…

Does The President keep books beside his bed? For bedside reading, perhaps?

I can’t answer that, not knowing if The President reads or doesn’t read the books he’s dictated, many of which have been on best-seller lists by the way. I do know that The President would prefer watching TV to both reading and writing best-selling books he’s both dictated and had ghost-written. I know that The President is very fond of reptiles too, and keeps a few of them close at all times…
