Take Great Exception

I take exception to the phrase, 'oh sorry, I fell asleep.”

You can’t “fall asleep”, it’s impossible. You can fall off a bike, fall down from a cliff, fall from grace etc etc, but you can’t fall asleep. However, to fall in love is possible, although falling in love may sometimes classified as a borderline activity.

And the saying, “everything that rises must converge” is nonsense; everything that rises does not converge; it crashes to the the ground and then immediately goes up in flames. Only the survivors are there to identify the ashes.
