Next Stop: New Year's Day

The painting has something to do with Georg Braque and me, that’s all I know, a small gesture as yet unfinished but with some promise, the promise I made to myself that I’d finish painting it soon, sometime in the New Year.

The old year is going out on the theme of an an unfinished painting, and just in time.
