Home Away From Home

Free floating Microbes on display at the Democratic National Convention, August 22, 2024. Those who know believe Wyoming is ready for progressive, visionary, independent thinking.

Wyoming is in the process, I like to think, of assembling such an interesting laboratory. I can’t help but believe something good, even something as good as excellence, will take place sooner than later in Wyoming, and that we have to get prepared for it.

Wyomingite’s are independent people. There’s no reason a Wyomingite has to live under the tyranny of the Pledge of Allegiance that contains the words ‘under God’. Can’t we be equal to God, or even better than God?

Government by Reality. What would that look like? What would that feel like? Will we be governed by All of Us, and not just Some of Them?

Might not Government by Reality become a goal, the goal?

Wyoming, such a beautiful state, peopled by independent thinkers.

Freedom seems to be the big word in Wyoming. The Wyoming Freedom Caucus for instance, is made up of 4 words and, it seems, an infinite number of free, independent thinkers who identify themselves as Republican. However, the three words, We the People, don’t seem to resonate with as many people in Wyoming as does the word, Freedom.

Wyoming is the least populous state in the continental US. There are almost as many people in the city of Oakland (CA) as there are in the entire state of Wyoming. Opportunies for experimentation—especially considering the wide open spaces available—would seem to call to independent thinkers who could work independently or work in small groups, each experimenting inn a kind of laboratory setting, one which would offer the equipment and atmosphere necessary for thinking through the consequences and ramifications of the word Freedom and the words, We the People.

Wyoming is poised for the breakthrough! I can feel it in my bones! It may surprise us all by entering into a deeper realm of understanding one another, each witnessing the other while acknowledging the other without anger, contempt, or dismissal.
