But first let us have a moment of silent prayer in recognition of the legendary televangelist Pat Robertson, 91, hanging up his cleats after a terrific 50-year run at the helm of “The 700 Club.” Let it be noted that Mr. Robertson “helped cement the alliance between the conservative Christians and the Republican Party”, fought the dangerous spread of Islam in the name of Christ, and dismissed feminism as a “socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”
