Brooks' Sage Farm: A Conceptual Retreat

Welcome to Brooks’ Sage Farm, a conceptually-based wellness center located in upstart Wyoming, high in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, halfway between Yellowstone Park and the Monster Lake compound of the world’s most notorious rapper, Kanye West. We do hope you enjoy your stay!!!

The world-renowned Sage Farm philosophy is in daily operation here—to promote and develop among our guests an appreciation for the most spartan, one might say primal, approaches to healthy, vegan-free living in an atmosphere somewhat tolerant of liberal humanism, Lite beer, equal rights, and women’s right to choose.

At Brooks’ Sage Farm, we urge our guests to start their day with a smile and go from there; from there we recommend beginning the morning by dropping a small object on the floor (a bottle cap or the small bar of soap, for instance) while bending over and touching one’s toes, after which a lemon may be cut in two, the juice of which is to be drunk before, not after, one’s first cup of coffee. Ablutions may follow—remember you’re on vacation, it’s your perfect right to simply let the day unfold any way it wishes. Many of our guests choose to join us for our 24-hour breakfast buffet service, where such delicacies as fresh osprey, whiskered trout, rock-fed beef and home-baked pastries from the world-famous Bumpy’s Road House, the internationally recognized 24/7 café located in charming and historic downtown Cody.

Guests are encouraged to spend the day in prayer, or simply to meditate while wandering the Sage Farm grounds under the big sky and meandering streams. Our lending library is open at odd, spontaneous, often unposted times (‘when the spirit moves us’, as we like to say), should one wish to dip a curious toe or two into the collected works of Karl Marx or Sigmund Freud or one of the well-thumbed paperbacks penned by highly-regarded regional writers and poets of our personal acquaintance. From the library it’s only a short dusty walk to the world-famous Brooks’ Sage Farm conceptual sculpture garden, which contains replicas of the work of Jean Tinguely, Auguste Rodin, Marcel Duchamp, and others too numerous to mention.

SO PLEASE RELAX, listen to the restorative 80 mph winds whistling their way across these happy, sacred grounds, wander through the magnificent cloud structures that grace our virgin skies, or simply sit back and take in spirit of the holy sage bush that bless our native land.
