Hope Hicks in Lichtenstein

The Rev. Billy Graham's casket no longer lies in state in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol building. Husky Republicans Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have lifted the thing on their broad shoulders and are carrying it to its final resting place at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina. Inmates at the Louisiana State Pen, aka Angola, were commissioned to build the casket by Billy Graham's son, Franklin. The Graham family describes the Rev. Billy's final resting vessel as a "plain wood coffin with interior liners made out of Walmart comforters."

We are now officially a kingdom of flying insects, keeping the faith that we've been clever enough to cloak ourselves in invisibility, and yet, like gnats back-lit by evening light, we're still showing up in our sleek shark-skin business suits and monogrammed white dress shirts with skinny ties, making greasy deals in back rooms.
