Siri for peace

I asked Siri this morning, "Siri, how many people are currently in the US military?"

"For fiscal year 2017," Siri answered, "there are 1,281,900 active service members and 801,200 in the seven reserve components."

Even Siri seemed surprised.

Then I asked Siri, "Siri, how many soliders were enlisted in the Roman legion at the height of the Imperial Empire?"

"125,000 infantry and 30,000 cavalry," Siri said.
