Sexual politics
How would a liberal American man look at Hillary Clinton if she were a man instead of a woman?
By look of course I mean, would a liberal American man look differently at the presidential candidacy of Hillary Clinton if she were male instead of female?
By liberal I mean a man who reads intelligent newspapers and books intelligently, can define the term, "liberal humanism," is at least somewhat aware of the forces at work in the creation of the USA and its subsequent history, a man who wakes at one in the morning wondering whether his dislike of Hillary Clinton is based purely on a dislike of her politics, whether or not she's a woman or a man; or if his dislike of her is because she is a woman and, if she were a man her politics would be somewhat acceptable.
Or is my dislike of Hillary Clinton not at all influenced by the fact that she's a woman, but by the fact that I have no other person to vote for other than her.
