brooksroddan.com
Sunday's the best day in the world to announce a new website--brooksroddan.com--and to say that from now on I'll be splitting what I have to say into two parts, the personal and the professional, as a journalist is allowed to do on a Sunday when writing for the Sunday magazine when he or she is able to write about personal matters but as a professional.
"I think it is a mistake to treat ancient and modern as if a barrier divided them," wrote Renzo Mongiardino, an architect and interior designer in 1992, and cited in a recent edition of The New York Times Sunday magazine, expressing the spirit if not the letter of what I hope to accomplish by having two separate sites .
From now on, then, I'll write twice, once on this ifsfpublishing.com about the professional concerns of writing and publishing books, and once on the new site, brooksroddan.com about any number of superfluous things that interest me and that I can't resist hoping to bring to your attention.
