Frederick Exley

Gifford just died.

Does anyone remember the book, "A Fan's Notes."

Other than me I mean.

It's a very good book, Exley's modeled his voice on Celine, Sherwood Anderson, and the Joseph Mitchell who wanted to write like James Joyce but who wrote creative non-fiction for The New Yorker instead.

Frank Gifford's in Exley's book, "A Fan's Notes." He plays a big part.

Everything comes to an end, Exley's book, Frank Gifford, Monday Night Football, television. It's just a matter of time.

It's time for me to read Frederick Exley's book, "A Fan's Notes," again.
