Mein Kampf

I'm tempted to laugh when I hear a reader say, 'your writing puts too much pressure on a reader.' Isn't this what a writer's supposed to do, put pressure on a reader? But I don't laugh anymore, I laugh less and less, it's really not funny, it's as sad for the reader as it is for the writer to hear such a thing said.
