We invest in all this power and then when it's our turn to ask questions of power, we don't ask.

As was the case in the VOX interview of Obama, conducted two days ago by journalists Ezra Klein and Matthew Yglesias.

The questions that could've been asked weren't, and the questions that were asked were of the journalistic nature that pretends to be journalism.

What pretends to be journalism serves the power it purports to question.
