Nazi architecture

Dear Stan, I felt bad for what I said yesterday about Ian. I like Ian, at least on an instinctual level, I just don't like playing golf with him, and since golf is virtually the only interaction I have with Ian, what I said about Ian's deplorable behavior on the golf course might be construed as a condemnation of his whole person, which it was not. I'm sorry to say that my disparagement of Ian lacked compassion--the poor guy's been out of work for what, 3 to 4 years? I ask myself, how can a thinking and feeling human being not be sympathetic to a fellow human being poking around the weeds with his nine iron, looking for lost golf balls, hoping the balls he finds might put food on the table? Ian has every right to his misery, I only wish he kept it to himself and refrained from trying to pass it on to others by his snotty little comments. It's bad enough when I three-putt or hit one behind the trees without having to hear Ian say something sarcastic about it, as if he's never hit a bad shot in his life! In any event, I should have been the bigger person and said nothing instead, just let the whole Ian thing pass, instead of descending to his level. Anyway, enough about Ian. Nazi architecture was much better than given credit for.
