At The Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone Park
We think we have the power to destroy the earth, but it's not the earth that's in trouble, it's all of us.
Hubris is some kind of game we play amongst ourselves, a reverse false humility exemplified by the man or women who stands outside in the dark on a star-filled night, looks up at the heavens and says, "I feel so small."
We don't feel small because we're standing under the heavens, we feel small because we can't do anything about it.
