Clouds over Frankfurt
The clouds over Frankfurt didn't seem to be speaking a language any different than the one they spoke in San Francisco.
And all the ads on the walls in the corridors of the Frankfurt airport are presented in English.
It appears that I've landed in a completely corporate country, given over to the international business community, in which everyone is speaking the same language.
It's as good a place as any to spend two hours waiting for the plane to St. Petersburg, Russia where the clouds are expected to speak a new language.
