Kate Winslet's nose

Vanity isn't fair.

You know they're there somewhere, but when you look in the mirror they've disappeared.

It's not pleasant being you, at best it's something you endure. You need to be someone else.

But who?

Someone you've seen and admired, someone who has something you don't have, someone you think has everything, someone who isn't you.

Deborah of Texas had plastic surgery so she could resemble the actress Kate Winslet. Stacy of Mission Viejo, Calif. altered her nose so she could better achieve her goal of looking like Heather Locklear.

"I know it sounds crazy," Stacy said to the a reporter for The New York Times, "but I'd be happy being more like her. I wouldn't miss how I look."
