My new tattoo

Consider the tattoo, for it makes no sense so perfectly.

Consider the tattoo as a question without an answer, and the tattoo makes perfect sense.

Maurice Blanchot. Did Blanchot have a tattoo? I'll never know. If Blanchot had a tattoo it would be a tattoo made of words, not pictures.

I see you have a tattoo. It's very beautiful. Tell me, what did you feel? Was it worth the pain involved? Does it give you pleasure? When you consider your tattoo does it make you happy? Sad?

I'm interested in the experience of the tattoo.

I'm fascinated by the phenomena.

Everywhere I look I see tattoos. Tattoos are all over the place.

Tattoos are being given this moment to people who believe they'll live forever, or to people who live like they may die tomorrow.

My new tattoo is in honor of Maurice Blanchot, who is said to have said, "the answer is the misfortune of the question."

It's hard to see my tattoo, I've hidden it in a very private place, but it's there.

Would you like to see it?
