A rose is a rose is a rose, I mean how audacious is that? To use that piece of language in a poem written in 1913; to say it, a rose is a rose is a rose, much less to write it, is to look obviousness right in the face and dare it to be less obvious.
Technology is the only way capitalism can see itself going forward. Technology is the only hope capitalism has. Technology is what's new before it becomes old and it's not technology anymore and a new technology has to be created.
It's come to the point where we are making technologies of our desires--a need is created and a product supplied--though we really have no words for what is happening.
The job of technology is to create a future which can be sold. Technology is not to be confused with the imagination, whose job it is to make a picture of a world we'd like to live in.
