The best art makes you think about your life, whether you like living the way you live, who you're living with etc, and whether you're happy or sad about what you're thinking. Bad art makes you think about art.

Bad art is good in this way: if you look at enough bad art long enough you'll soon know by looking what good art is, and be able to see the difference between good art and bad art.

Then there is some art that is so bad it makes almost all other art look good, even some art that would otherwise look bad.

When you see bad art all by itself without any other art around it you know it's bad art just by the way it looks, and that all you can think about while you look at it is that it's art.
