Late September in Greenland
Whenever I travel whatever I see is always much more than I could have imagined.
45 minutes from Reykjavik, flying west (or is it north) to Seattle, I pass over Greenland which I've never seen before in such stark, vivid splendor. And because I'm a tourist, I stop to take a picture.
And even though I'm on my way home I'd like to be able to stop in Greenland for a few days and have a look around.
But I'm tired, exhausted really from traveling from place to place in Iceland and Scotland, from all the encounters with the new people I've met and the new places I've seen.
Greenland's far enough north for me to believe it will still be there next year or the year after that, and that I still have plenty of time to see it for myself.
