It should not be such a surprise to some of us that we are considered a Christian nation, since we are.

Stop deploring it, accept the situation.

Deplore the extremists, those who organize a culture and its economics on a certain religious foundation, those who put a god before men and exalt a charismatic leader over the laws of the land. Deplore those who thrive on having enemies.

Hasn't it been law since 1973 that women have certain reproductive rights? And isn't it true that not one Republican candidate for President of the USA is pro-choice? And isn't it now 2012?
