It rained unexpectedly and the green pitcher fell into the small stone well.

Whether it was an accident or not has yet to be determined.

What is known is that it occurred in the garden of the home of Hamid & Georgette Karem in the village of Montaigut-le-Blanc, Puy de Dome, France.

A witness testified as to the correctness of the tableau, the merging of the planned with the unplanned, in which certain human placements were overcome by the random, by chance as it were.
